Judgments must be satisfied. Tax liens must be paid or in repayment.  Charged-off student loans must be paid or in repayment.  Bankrupcy must be discharged 2 years for Chapter 7 (one year in limited cases).  You can be in Chapter 13 bankruptcy (at least one year).  There is a 3 year recovery for foreclosures.   An acceptable credit explanation letter is required for any derogatory credit issues. 

Mininum credit score of 620 required on all mortgages.
